Turners Falls to host holiday festivities Dec. 9

Montague Business Association members and others will hold special shopping hours from 6-10 p.m. Friday Dec. 9, 2011 as part of It’s A Wonderful, Wonderful Night in Turners Falls.
 
Initiated by Montague Business Association member Nina Rossi, of Nina’s Nook on Avenue A, and artist Ariel Jones, the evening includes caroling starting at 6 p.m. at The Rendezvous. Many businesses will offer specials, and participants can expect refreshments at some of the venues as well as surprises.
 
Thanks to Linda Ackerman and the Greenfield Savings Bank, the Montague Business Association will light a holiday tree in the band shell at Peskeomskut Park about 7 p.m., complete with warming fire provided by Montague Web Works.

After It’s A Wonderful, Wonderful Night in Turners Falls, the next regular Montague Business Association meeting will be Tuesday January 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Burrito Rojo, 50 Third Street, Turners Falls. The meeting will include plenty of time to network with members, as well as an opportunity to shape association programming. All are invited!
Dues start at $60 per year for businesses with up to five full-time employees, to $120 for businesses with 6-25 full-time employees, and $250 for those with 26 or more full-time employees.
