Local Harmony, a non-profit in Leverett, has proposed to professionally design and maintain planters along Avenue A in Turners Falls. If there is community interest in and support for this approach and fundraising for a pilot project is successful, the project would begin with 2 or so planters this year. The budget for each planter is approximately $900, and includes hiring students from Franklin County Technical School to install and maintain the planters. If you’d like to contribute to the project, you can do so via the Local Harmony donation page: http://www.localharmony.org/#!turners-falls/pkrkf
