Get ready for Scarecrow Weekend

Scarecrow Building WORKSHOP 4:00-7pm. Free!

As part of the 100th Anniversary of the Mohawk Trail, Riverculture is working with the Montague Business Association to create the scarecrows that will decorate town and the Turners Falls- Gill intersection/Route 2. You can collect your creation after the display weekend, October 18-19. RiverCulture will have all of the basic scarecrow building supplies: frames, pants, shirts, heads and hay for stuffing. YOU bring ideas and accessories to personalize YOUR scarecrow. Especially unusual hats and clothing work well. Think creatively! rockstar, astronaut, footballer, medieval queen, skateboarder, farmer...

Registration is not required but helpful for planning.
